Blind Spot Monitoring
If you’re in the market for an SUV, we’ve got to hand it to both the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2020 Dodge Durango. If you’re choosing between the Jeep Grand Cherokee vs. Dodge Durango, we think the Grand Cherokee edges the Durango out ever so slightly. If you’re choosing between the Durango or Grand Cherokee, stay tuned for SJ Denham Chrysler Jeep FIAT’s lowdown on both of these vehicles and check out our great offers while you’re at it.
If you want customization for your Anderson drive, we definitely have to recommend the 2020 Grand Cherokee. The 2020 Grand Cherokee has 11 trim levels and starts at an MSRP of $32,045. This is slightly more expensive than the base trim of the Durango which retails for $30,495, but the Durango only has five trim levels, meaning there’s less room for customization.
If you’re choosing between the Dodge Durango or Grand Cherokee, no matter what you pick, you’re getting a 3.6L V6 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. This means that both cars have the same fuel economy. Where the Durango and Grand Cherokee differ is in towing capacity. You have 1,000 pounds more towing capacity with the Grand Cherokee when compared to the Durango, 7,200 pounds to the Durango’s 6,200 pounds.
The Grand Cherokee also has the Trail Rated® badge, meaning it’s uniquely tested for its off-roading capabilities. When you want to head off-road in Chico or Red Bluff, you’ve got a great vehicle in the Grand Cherokee to do so.
